Dr.Muhammad Yunus World’s 3rd Most Compassionate Business Leader

Proud to know that Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank, has been ranked 3rd in Salt Magazine’s list of the top 100 compassionate business leaders. Salt a new publication, published from United Kingdom (UK) motivated by the hope that businesses will play a key role in shaping a better world, has released its first Top 100 Compassionate Leaders List. Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank, Nobel Peace Prize recipient and pioneer of microcredit rated #3 in Salt Magazine's list of the top 100 Compassionate Business Innovators. Salt magazine focused on Microfinance.
“In its citation, Salt Magazine said, 'Yunus regards credit as a vital human right, and has given millions of people access to the banking system,'” said a Yunus Centre press release yesterday.
Paul Polman and Richard Branson secured the first and second positions on the list. The list also includes prominent personalities like Bill Gates, Arianna Huffington, Larry Page, Ted Turner, Warren Buffett, Tim Cook and Elon Musk.
