If you walk in a city area in Japan I can assure you after every 15 minutes of walking you will find a convenience store in Japan. Actually convenience stores are one of the most convenient ways in Japan to have instant snacks and even your lunch.


In Japan, I found convenience stores as a small surrounded land of all kinds of food and even a thousand types of food and combinations of different types of beverages. So if I want to define the Japanese convenience stores it's a mini package of everything you need in your daily life. Now I am going to listing the numbers of convenience stores in Japan:


1.7-Eleven (Seven & I Holdings Co.):

7-Eleven is one of the most spread convenience stores in Japan. Wherever you go in Japan you will find 7-Eleven. One of the best food items I found is a special kind of bread of 7- Eleven and the bread name is Junda bread. Junda bread is a combination of soft cream and Junda inside the bread. Ok, I am letting you know more clearly about Junda.

It's a kind of sweet bean. I am recommending you if you go any time in Japan please taste a Junda bread and I swear you will remember it and it's yummy. The parent company of 7-Eleven is Seven & I Holdings Co. and headquarters is in Japan.7-Eleven have total 19,175 stores

2.FamilyMart:

Whenever I walk on the road in Japan I think it's really kind of my family member :) damn I see everywhere FamilyMart is available. In this convenience store, I think chips are too tasty. FamilyMart has different kinds of chips which are really tasty. If you go to the FamilyMart you need to taste the chips from FamilyMart. The parent company of FamilyMart is Itochu and headquarters is in Japan. Family Mart has total 18,190 stores

3.Lawson:

Lawson is another common face of convenience stores in Japan. I like the chicken fry from Lawson. They sell different types of chicken items. It's really tasty and crispy. You should not miss the taste of this chicken fry from Lawson. The parent company of Lawson is Mitsubishi Corporation and its headquarters is in Japan. Lawson has 12,921 stores in Japan.

4.Ministop:

Ministop is not widely spread in Japan but you will find Ministop in the city area and any market place in Japan. Ministop has its own Ice Cream and different types of ice cream you will find. I found Ice Cream from Ministop is really yummy. I have to thank one of my friends who informed me about this tasty Ice Cream.

One specialty of Ministop is Mini Stop stores have their own kitchen where employers prepare fresh sandwiches, snacks and take out bento boxes. The parent company of Ministop is Æon Group and headquarters is in Japan. Ministop has a total of 2,221 stores.

5.Circle K Sunkus:

Circle K Sunkus is one of the other convenience stores in Japan. You will find these convenience stores mostly in the city area along with that you will rarely see thin convenience stores in the site area. Most of the stores are mainly located in the Chūbu and Kantō regions. The company is a division of UNY Co., Ltd., which licensed the Circle K name from Alimentation Couche-Tard, a Canadian convenience store company that owns the Circle K brand. The word "Sunkus" is a combination of the words "Sun" and the word "Thanks" The logo is a combination of the words "Sun", "Kids", and "Us".


6.Daily Yamazaki:

Daily Yamazaki is one of the other convenience stores in Japan but this convenience store is different from other convenience stores. The reason behind them is a little different is they sell baked goods such as bread, pastries, and other confectioneries in both traditional Japanese and Western styles. The stores also sell baked goods such as pastries, bread and different kinds of cakes and sweets. Along with other products, they have this specialty that, they sell very tasty baked items like snacks, and so on. If you go to the Daily Yamazaki you will get the different types of food taste.


7.Newdays:

Newdays is a convenience store and its specialty is Newdays is based on the area of the train station, that is you will find Newdays only in the train station area in Japan. Newdays offers the usual products found in convenience stores, as well as they, have beautiful gifts items and small trinkets. They also sell the usual convenience store items but not many other convenience stores.


8.Poplar:

Poplar is a convenience store franchise chain in Japan. The franchise of poplar is not much. There are 818 shops in the Chugoku, Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, and Shikoku regions.

The Headquarters of Poplar is in Asakita-Ku, Hiroshima, Japan.


These are the list of convenience stores in Japan. Most of the convenience stores have the same services and food items. If you think about the service of the convenience stores, they will stand in the same service. All the food items from all convenience stores are tasty and without any doubt healthy.
