Buses are now Wi-Fi Connected in the Capital City Dhaka.

To the route of Uttara and Motijheel 20 buses of BRTC will be included WI-FI connection in the capital city Dhaka. These buses are namely “Digital Bus “These buses will also have the service of vehicle tracking so that people will easily know about the location of the bus.
Government powered Access to Information (A2I) helped in this regard. Each bus will contain 4 3G WI-FI router of Teletalk. So 40 passengers can use internet by using smartphone at a time. In the bus there will be some bar code system after that people will take a picture of the bar code and then they will have the access of using free WI-FI internet.
Gradually all the route of Dhaka city will be WI-FI connected as per Government body. It’s really a praise-worthy step from A2I. They should continue this kind of activity. A2I and also government should try to minimize the cost of internet browsing across Bangladesh and it should be the pre-requisite of Digital Bangladesh as per this Government. It will also make more sense among people.
