8 people talking facility introduced by WhatsApp group call

WhatsApp recently announced an increase in the number of participants in group calls across cross-platform messaging and voice over IP services. WhatsApp authorities have launched that facility. Now you can join up to eight video and audio calls together using the service. Up to four video and audio calls could be taken together on WhatsApp so far. Facebook, the parent company of WhatsApp, said the feature would reach all users around the world from next week. News NDTV.

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the feature of eight group calls together from WhatsApp in a Facebook post. He said 600 million people regularly make calls using WhatsApp and Messenger. Eight people can now take part in WhatsApp group calls instead of 4 to keep in touch with loved ones.

WhatsApp chief Will Cathcart said in a tweet that the feature will reach all iPhone and Android platform phones by next week. The new group calling feature will arrive on WhatsApp with the latest update.

Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled 'Messenger Rooms' in a Facebook post along with a new feature of WhatsApp. As a result, from now on, 50 people will be able to have a video conference on Facebook Messenger. The new feature has been brought to Messenger to compete with the video conferencing app Zoom, which has suddenly become popular due to the lockdown in response to the Kavid-19 epidemic around the world. Facebook claims that a total of 2.5 billion people worldwide use Messenger regularly. This feature will reach everyone in the next few weeks. Messenger video calls are available for WhatsApp and Instagram users. Even if you don't have a Facebook account, you can join the video conference from the browser by clicking on the invitation link.
